Rewind and Rest in the Olympic National Forest
Join me for a look back at a sunny virtual escape from the midwinter blahs.
Reading time: Less than a minute.
Continuing last week's theme of midwinter rest, I invite you to join my husband Mike and me for a virtual trip with my favorite Seattle tour company, Evergreen Escapes. In May 2019, they took us to the Olympic National Forest, where we felt sunshine and encountered snow, marveled over black bears, deer, and marmots, listened to cascading rivers, and walked beneath the canopies of beautiful, life-giving trees. The video is set to snappy music and is just over a minute long. Watching it today, I can almost forget the cold, wet rain dancing on my windows.
